Asagumo-jo to Asagumo City

Yue was in a cheerful mood. Before they left on the adventure, she’d finished the Hoverboards and their accessories. She felt accomplished with that task, and the Daikoku Agriculture starships were in use, which equally made her feel proud. But now Yue found herself not needed for an important task, except for one. Near the end of last year, she and Tachiko had a daughter, a result of Yue using Kaserine. This meant she had an adorable bouncing baby girl.

Yue wanted to spend time with her daughter, so she chose not to send her to daycare.. This made her feel both excited, and sad, unfortunately, excited because she loved her daughter and wanted to spend time with her, but sad because Tachiko was on duty, as far as Yue was aware of, and she was currently serving on the Mazu. Yue wanted to shower to avoid passing anything on to her daughter.. Not that she thought she would, since Nekovalkyrja’s physiology was very strong and she had the immunity to match. She spent only a short time in the shower before she was leaving it, and moved to where her infant daughter was with the babysitter. “Thanks for watching her! I hope she behaved well?’ She asked them as she carefully lifted her adorable blue bundle of cuteness in her arms. Her assistant wrapped the cloth strap over her shoulders and neck, securing the cloth carrier to her bare chest so that Yuko was close to her and especially her skin.

Yue had read that this was important for bonding, so she made sure that she did this as had Tachiko when she could. “Ok, Yuko-chan, you're secure! Now let’s go for our walk!” Yue said directly to her daughter, despite knowing that she wasn’t there in the development where she could understand her, but she could hear her. Yue was met by Motoyoshi Keibi, who opened the castle doors for her as she walked across the courtyard. Yue knew as she walked out, the Motoyoshi’s Keibi would likely follow her, using stealth and camouflage, sure, but they will be there. It’s possible one may visibly want to join her. She wasn’t going to say no to them. “So what do you think, Yuko-chan? want to go to the observatory deck on the Station? We could see out, maybe we could even see Auntie Akina and Katsuko’s flagship?” Yue said to her infant daughter with a smile on her face, as she allowed her daughter to hear her voice.

Asagumo-jo to Asagumo City

(ChatGPT reply with some Charaa edit)

Yuko, nestled close to her mother's chest, cooed in response to Yue's words. She may not have understood the full meaning, but the warmth and love in her mother's voice was enough to make her feel safe and content. As they walked towards the observatory deck, the gentle manufactured breeze brushed against their faces, carrying with it the familiar scent of the ocean.

As they reached the deck, Yue gazed out at the vast expanse of space, dotted with stars. The view was breathtaking, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The thought of Auntie Akina and Katsuko's flagship, out there among the stars, filled her with excitement. She imagined all the adventures they were having and couldn't wait to hear their stories.

As they stood there, enjoying the view, Motoyoshi Keibi appeared beside them, blending seamlessly with their surroundings. Keibi's presence offered a sense of security, assuring Yue that they were watching over them both.

Yue gently swayed from side to side, her movements soothing Yuko. She sang a soft lullaby; the words flowing effortlessly from her lips. Yuko smiled in her mother's embrace as a peaceful melody filled the observatory deck.

Yue smiled, gazing down at her daughter. The bond between them grew stronger with each passing day, and she cherished every moment they spent together. She knew that even though Tachiko couldn't be there physically, they were connected, and their love for Yuko would only continue to grow.

Ryu-Mizumitsu Complex

Being Taisho Ketsurui-Motoyoshi's assigned Close Protection Specialist and Overseer for CPS Detachment 501 had some unforeseen challenges for the Shosa. For one, the Taisho's position within her clan really didn't require his presence with her humble "chef" always being around. So he got to spend a lot of his time within his cabin's segmented office monitoring the ongoings of the ship as there really wasn't station on the ship for the Close Protection Specialists. At least he didn't have to go far when off duty.

When he was not monitoring the ship, he was training the other Close Protection Specialists. Thankfully most appreciated that there was someone looking out for them and it motivated them be in their best form for their charges. He could feel the energy from them when they were pitted against each other in their CRIED sparring lessons and daily planning training.

While some might find it strange that Close Protection Specialists were learning a SAINT combat style, it was very effective at controlling and disabling those that attempt harm on their charges quietly and effectively. It also helped them focus their minds in planning out the day-to-day movement plans, looking out for spots where someone could attempt to corner them.

But now it was time to take leave off the YSS Battle of Ayenee Capital City and pay a visit to Asagumo City on Port Jiyuu. It was not like he had much of a choice, it was the only real travel destination that didn't involve looking at industrial/asteroid rocks all day. But the main reason for the choice was to pay a visit to the Ryu-Mizumitsu complex located on one of the lower levels of the city.

While there were no Ryu-Mizumitsu Clan members living at the complex at the moment, it was used at the local headquarters for the Mizumitsu Clan should it ever be decided to have new Lily-Type Artificial Nepleslian members created there to carry the clan into the frontier. As a Mizumitsu journeyman with the potential of becoming a full samurai, he had to make regular reports to his assigned mentor: Mizumitsu Hye-yeong.

A purple haired female Nepleslian of 180cm in height and looked like she was 70kg, Hye-yeong was generally happy to hear from him. Even if she tried to mask it with a sense of stoicism that volumetric communications help mask as you can only see the face. But today she was especially flustered in the face as she was flanked by a younger woman in an Advancer Enterprises lab coat as they approached Mikael waiting in the lobby.

Taller than Hye-yeong, the dark brunette had violet colored eyes and a surprisingly athletic build for a medical scientist of some type. But the main distinguishing feature that stood out to him were her pointed ears. Clearly not Elven, they could perhaps past as half-Elven if they were not much larger than what you typically see with half-Elven individuals. He was curious as to what she was, but it would have to wait for later.

"Ah Harris-shosa, while we typically do not give tasks to journeymen I need you to escort Ms. Li here back into Asagumo City, preferably Advancer's Research hospital located at the RyuK Regional HQ." Hye-yeong said when she stopped at a friendly, but respectable distance from Mikael. "She is done with her work here and missed the transport with the others because she was oogling the architecture."

"I wasn't oogling! I was pointing out that someone could have use the spaces within here more efficiently. For instance the large space on level 2 could be used to install 10 Inception Cloning Vats or 2 Genesis Bioforges with plenty of space for the require synthesis lab. Or an actual sauna and bath. How do you not have a sauna here!?" Ms. Li said when saw an opportunity to insert herself into the conversation. She was about to say something else, but then she started to take a long look at Mikael as she had to look up to see all of him. She just kind of stopped talking when she finally looked at Mikael's face. He wasn't smiling, but she acted like she had seen a ghost.

"Very well, what about this month's report on my self-studies on Mizumitsu Takashi's writings?" Mikael responded back, picking on the hint that the woman had outlived her welcome. He looked down at her and her puzzling facial expressions.

"That can wait, I am sure you didn't come all the way here to see me just for that. Call me when you are free Harris-shosa so we can re-schedule the meeting." she said before giving him a thankful bow of her head.

"Very well then Mizumitsu-sama." He then looked at Ms. Li more intensely (but professionally). "Ms. Li this way please." Mikael said as he was beckoning her towards the exit. He wasn't expecting to do his job off the ship, but "that is life".

Ryu-Mizumitsu Complex to Asagumo City

The local station for the Port Jiyuu's internal tram was not far from the complex. Towering over the majority of the individuals, he had gotten used to the stares from others when he makes his appearance. One male Minkan child looked at him and quickly clamored to get his mother's attention.

"Mommy, mommy! Why is there an ID-SOL action man wearing a Star Army uniform!? I thought they were only in Nepleslia?!" Mikael just looked over from the corner of his eye when he heard it, but didn't make any other actions in regards to them.

Ms. Li did over hear it and looked up towards Mikael. "Seems you make quite the impression on people Shosa." she said with a sheepish grin on her face. He simply stared her down which caused that grin to quickly disappear from his face. "Wow, you are a killer of fun."

Asagumo City

As Yue slowly turned to make her way back to the city proper. Her yellow eyes caught the glimpse of another ship in the massive
Colonial Initiative Fleet. This one operated by the Mining Guild as their first capital ship for their private military forces. She thought it looked familiar, but she couldn’t quite place from where, instead she turned and carried her infant away from the observation area. The mother smiles as her infant cooed and smiled at all of the new things in front of her. She was so proud that she brought her into the universe, she created someone special, and beautiful.

As mother and daughter entered the city, they caught sight of a very large man. Yue found she was familiar with this man, as he served in another of the ships within the fleet. As she approached, she remembered his name was Mikael Harris. His companion, she wasn’t as familiar with, but knew she was also a member of the fleet. “Hello there!” Yue said as the little infant Nekovalkyrja cooed and waved her little hands at the two of them. Her actions were mostly to wave her hands, rather than really greet the two. Her hidden Keibi remained hidden but calm, believing that a close protection specialist wouldn’t attach a member of the Motoyoshi Clan.[/URL]

Asagumo City

The travel into the city was more eventful than Mikael expected. The occasional looks from civilians was expected. But what didn't expect was for Ms. Li's constant questions to him once she realized he wasn't actually an ID-SOL but instead a recipient of the Zhenren Human Upgrade Package. She quickly remotely accessed Advancer's patient database and used her position as a cloning and cybernetics specialist to get the medical records on him (personal data beyond his name redacted for privacy).

Usually she had to wait for them to come in augmentees to show up for their checkups, but Zhenrens were rare within the Colonial Imitative and the ones that did exist were mostly SAoY personnel who had their own medics check them over. Now was the best opportunity to get some feedback, aggressively if needed. How could a Nepleslian male resist this Rose of a beauty, huh?

"How many calories are you eating every day?" Ms. Li said, her face practically in front of his.
"About 6,000..." Mikael said, every so slightly moving her face away from her and pointing towards the seat next to him.

"6,000? You really should increase that to 10,000. Where are you sourcing your durandium powder?" Ms. Li continued as she ignored his suggestion and got closed to him again. And the questions continued until they finally got to the first station they needed to transfer to. Standing up and grabbing her by the shoulder, the pair made their way off of the tram and into the depths of the station towards the next line they would have to take to get to the Ryu Keiretsu Headquarters.

"Hey Mister Soldier, you don't need to push me along!" she protested after Mikael let go. He just ignored her for the moment. As he did as they continued travelling the trams and he continued to be assaulted with her increasingly personal questions. As they left their final station he was about go calm Giretsu Commander on her when Yue got his attention. It only took a few seconds of putting her face through his face recognition system to properly identify her and his head immediately bowed downwards for the Cadet Heiress.

"Motoyoshi-Igarashi Yue, it is an honor to meet you again." Mikael said in his most professional tone. He quickly hiding the annoyance that had been gathering within him from Ms. Li (especially with the Neko youngling around), who was looking at the exchange with curiosity. As much of a talker as she was, her sleep training taught her enough to be polite when higher ranking people were around her. Shosa Harris just lost that position because he was exactly what she was working on at Advancer Enterprises.

Asagumo City

Yue smiled at the large man, as he greeted her and almost as if sensing her mother’s mood, Yuko smiled too, and babbled though this was towards Mikael, and Ms Li. Yuko’s words were very important after all. “I see you’ve both made the choice to enter the city as well? I wanted to go to the forward observation area, and see outside our fair city. It was fascinating to see, I don’t know if you both had a chance to see it, but I’d definitely recommend getting a chance. “ She said before she was interrupted by Yuko’s “biiiiiiii” causing Yue to smile at the infant. “Yes, Yuko-chan, we saw big ships didn’t we, and many of them!”

She said to her daughter before turning her attention back to the large man and the woman. “Anyways, I’d love to chat with you some more, but I take it you have some important matters to attend to? I shouldn’t interrupt if that’s the case. Plus, if I don’t stop this little one, she’s liable to climb out of this, and start to want to climb the two of you.” Yue said as Yuko focused on the two, and indeed tried to subconsciously levitate out of the cloth carrier which was very warm and comfortable. But she wasn’t able to leave due to her mother’s guarding arms holding her back down.
