Sebastian.
A shuttle, familiar faces, a battle hard-fought, friends and comrades floating in the black...
Floating...
A familiar sense of weightlessness and pressure on all sides brought Sebastian to his senses if not his wits. Strange fatigue bordering on pain racked his body and muscles like a low-voltage live wire replaced all his veins. Alongside this, the feeling of an axe embedded in his head and a supreme sense of growing nausea and confusion overtook the young SOL as his last memories continued flooding in but made little sense.
A loss of power, sealed in darkness, the air getting thin...
Air...
With a start his eyes shot open. He was still in darkness, but what was worse was the growing burn in his chest from the lack of air!
He wasn't in space! Wasn't in a shuttle! That much was obvious as his body began to spasm and thrash on pure survival instinct, the odd slowness and fatigued pain of his body in this weightless dark place-
And then his hand brushed something. Something hard, curved, smooth.
Glass? The thought springing to the forefront as even with his confusion the pieces of the puzzle started to fit. Not space, the pressure; Some kind of fluid, thicker than water but not solid, curved walls all around him wide enough he could reach out his arms on either side and just barely brush the curved walls, while his feet barely brushed the floor.
Some kind of tube or tank he was sealed inside? The conclusion came fast as he fought his bodies instinctive response to inhale.
If he didn't act soon he knew he would drown!
Carina.
Carina's last memory was of Locust, Lupin, And otto. Then the other spook had drifted in and...
And then what?
As she woke from the haze, a pulsing throb in her head like the worst migraine she could think of made drifting back into sleep. A familiar voice she could place as Elsae was saying something, urging her out of her stupor even if she couldn't yet understand the JANE's words.
It could wait, she decided, attempting to turn over into a more comfortable position in her bed. At least until her shoulder hit a metal wall overhead.
And then another at either side of her. In fact, all around her to a claustrophobic degree was this and intruding metal walls so tightly packed she could barely bring her hands up to her chest without needing to thrash and wiggle in the tight confines of the box she could now figure even in the darkness as her mind started to panic.
Was she in a fucking coffin?! A trash can?! Where the hell was she?!
Lupin.
Lupin Herstal awoke...
No that wasn't right... Kenedy... Lupin Adamsk Kenedy was his name, that had always been his name.
Yet when he awoke, strange and conflicting memories surged in his mind; Disappearing into obscurity as soon as he tried to focus on any one specific fragment.
"Do not let them catch you, little prince." A sultry voice cutting away the haze in his mind, but not from any direction he could identify as it started him and he began to fall from his bed.
Only to hit a hard and cold tiled floor. Only then did he realize he was blind, recalling the operator and the bright flash! Reaching up in panic to his face his hand brushed a coarse fabric material as he carefully patted the gauze and bandaged encompassing his head and face like a dam mummy.
Otto And Tobias.
A loud bang woke Otto and Tobias at practically the same time as their latent training kicked in. A dark and windowless room greeted the two as they woke to find themselves laying in hospital beds across from each other, each wearing simple hospital gowns tied in the back, in a silent room with dead machinery.
A torn curtain separated them just enough from the rest of the room but not enough that they couldn't see a dozen other beds just like theirs except empty and unkempt leading to a closed door.
It was the slamming of the door shut that had woken them. That much they both knew for certain just as much as the Marine across from them was their comrade on a suicide mission from a jungle world with no known life...
All else was a haze.
Ana.
Anatevka Kuznyetski awoke in a dark reception room when she fell out of the uncomfortable chair she must have dozed off in.
Except for the fact she couldn't remember the last time she was in a hospital and the last thing she did remember was gold powered armors cutting down her friends in zero-G and making a play for her head she could have found herself waking up in a worse off place.
What was equally confusing was the business-chic casual pantsuit she found herself in upon recovering from the floor and how most reception rooms no matter where you went often didn't leave people dozed off in them before they cut the lights and went home!
Where the hell even was she?
